Michel Brault (1928-2013) was a pioneering Québécois cinematographer whose off-the-shoulder camera work helped define the cinéma vérité / direct cinema movement that spread through North American and Europe.
Taking cues from the film cameras used by the likes of Brault, this Sony FS7 Mk1 super 35mm cinema camera has been outfitted with the very best rigging for documentary and news cinematography. Operator’s will find the build to be lightweight, ergonomic and functional - allowing you to react quicker and shoot as the story unfolds in front of you.
In honor of Michel Brault, nous présentons “le Brault” Sony FS7 build. Available for rent now in Montréal, QC from Impact Television. Email: email@example.com for rates and availability.
