Overview:
I was the sole cinematographer for the majority of Pauline Bauer’s storyline in episode 1, They Need to Hang, of Shadowland. This included her master interview, accompanying single camera vérité work, b-roll and drone footage. The look of the show was guided by Daniel Hollis (Series Director of Photography) and the team of cinematographers were directed to film “wide open” on prime lenses and full-frame cameras to maximize a shallow depth of field, all while playing with light and shadow
